Meeting called to order by L. Barone at 7:30pm, in Sachem High School North Cafeteria

1. Informal discussion regarding meeting location, items on the agenda, Candidates' School

2. Significant comments made regarding individuals who either do not show for tournament assignments or arrive excessively late

Meeting informally adjourned at 8:00pm for the Membership Meeting to commence

3.  Governing Board, after examination of By Law requirements, moved F. Gagliardi and M. Haise to Varsity List

4.  Dues increased by Governing Board to $ 120.00, due by October 31, without penalty.  Dues paid after October 31, would incur a fine which would need to be paid in order for referee to be insured and to receive a schedule from Section XI

5.  Phone number of Ed Cinelli to be posted on website:  If unable to make tournament and/or meet and not able to contact Section XI  call

6.  J. Truscello-- New Candidates' School discussed; new candidates present were introduced

Attendance—5 Meetings        Dues Paid        Test completed with grade of 75

Forms for Communicable Disease, Injury, Unsportsmanlike Conduct

9.   M. Haise—please complete information forms and return to provided box

10. Letters were sent out to members notifying them of organization requirements not met
 Second year of delinquency regarding attendance—return to Candidates' School

11. Committees - need for Evaluation, Membership, Ethics, Party, Buddy System

12. State Tournament Nominees—Criteria in By Laws followed
Candidates selected:  L. Barone, D. Harrell, G. Mazzola, C. Smith
Alternate:  K. Ahrem
Need evaluator - no volunteer
Award Nominee - submit resume to Board for consideration, regarding NYSWOA  Official of the Year

13. M. Haise called attention to Proposed Budget; noted by L. Barone that this is proposed, not in stone
Banner purchased by organization displayed
Request for ad in Friends of Long Island Wrestling(FOLIW) book to honor the induction of K. Cellan and "Doc" Fallot into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2007
Cost:  $ 250.00
Motion by R. LeVien to purchase full page ad; passed by Membership

14. Amendments mailed to Membership, brought to the floor for vote
All passed except for #7 referring to By Laws:  Article VIII, Section A(see website)
Suggestion to reword and bring for new vote with concept that vacated elected position be filled for remainder of year by Presidential appointment, and the next year filled by election as part of normal election process

15. Patches, flags available for purchase—flags required on uniform

NEW BUSINESS

16. Request for sign in sheet—noted that Rule Books/Case Books distributed as dues were paid
